Steam Recreations

PHOTOGRAPHIC CHARTERS TO RECREATE PAST STEAM RAILWAY SCENES FOR YOUR CAMERA

Steam Recreations photographic charters are our original offering. These charters were traditionally offered to accomplished steam photographers and have been operated for over 16 years. However we are now offering charter events to a much wider audience to dispel the myth that they are a "closed shop" and not available to those not already in the know.

Our heritage railways are always keen to explore new ways of raising much needed revenue to keep the lines operating and also to provide their staff and volunteers with the chance to do something a little different. Photo charters give them the chance to showcase restorations of goods wagons and other historic vehicles that are unsuitable for normal public service use.

By joining a Steam Recreations charter you are not only enjoying a day out photographing steam but are contributing towards keeping the heritage line visited running. Have a look at our forthcoming charter events and if you want to book a place either do so on line via our secure "Paypal" on-line payment method or by sending a booking form and cheque in the post together with 2 stamped addressed envelopes. Payment for charters must be made in advance. I look forward to welcoming you onto a Steam Recreations event in the near future.

TERMS & CONDITIONS These photographic charters are private events so as to avoid having “gate crashers” getting a free look in and possibly getting in your way please refer any enquiries to us. Participants must comply with the requests of Steam Recreations and railway officials during the charter in the interests of safety and other participants, not trespass on adjacent property without prior permission and provide and wear a high visibility vest. Steam Recreations its organisers or the host railways cannot be held responsible or liable for any injury, loss of life, loss or damage to equipment however caused through joining this event. Cancellations cannot be accepted under any circumstances less than two weeks before the charter is due to run. If you need to cancel prior to this for any reason please contact us.
